Tennessee Senator Art Swann- Hosts Reception Honoring Blount County First Responders

Sheriff James Berrong would like to thank Tennessee Senator Art Swann for hosting a reception honoring Blount County’s first responders and their families Thursday evening. The reception was held at the Blount County Communications center, and invitees represented first responder agencies from across Blount County. In addition to Senator Swann, other dignitaries included Tennessee’s Lt. Governor Randy McNally, Senate Majority Leader Jack Johnson, Representative Jerome Moon, and Representative Lowell Russell.

Blount County- Child Safety Clinic Saturday October 15th

MARYVILLE, TENNESSEE – The Sheriff’s Office is joining with the Blount County fire Department to host a child safety seat clinic Saturday, October 15 from 9 a.m. until noon at Blount County Fire Department, Station 1, located at 808 West Lamar Alexander Parkway, Maryville. Certified child safety seat technicians will be on hand to assure your child safety seat is installed properly and securely in your vehicle.
You’ll have one more opportunity for child safety seat installation on November 12. Please see the schedule for additional information.

SHERIFF’S OFFICE & BLOUNT COUNTY FIRE DEPARTMENT OFFERING CHILD SAFETY SEAT CLINIC SATURDAY
MARYVILLE, TENNESSEE – The Sheriff’s Office is joining with the Blount County Fire Department to host a child safety seat clinic Saturday, September 17 from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. at Heritage High School, 3741 E. Lamar Alexander Parkway, Maryville. This is the perfect opportunity to have your child safety seat checked and/or installed by certified child safety seat technicians.
We are also offering clinics in October and November. Please read the attached for additional information.

MARYVILLE, TENNESSEE – Blount County Sheriff James Lee Berrong announced the Sheriff’s Office is partnering with the Blount County Fire Department to host a child safety seat clinic today, August 6 from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. at Mary Blount Elementary School, located at 131 S. Old Glory Road in Maryville.
Trained and certified child passenger safety seat technicians will be on hand to provide child car seat installation. This clinic is an opportunity to ensure the child safety seat fits your vehicle, your child, and are safely and securely anchored in the vehicle.
