BLOUNT COUNTY, Ga. – Blount County Sheriff James Lee Berrong announced that investigators arrested a Louisville man Monday evening after a Blount County Grand Jury returned indictments on the man in connection with an investigation that began in December.
Investigators arrested Donald Jeffrey Clark, 64, of Apple Creek Drive, Louisville. Clark is charged with the following:
In December, investigators opened an inquiry on Clark after they received information from a parent that Clark sexually assaulted their teenage son for several years beginning in 2021. The investigation revealed that Clark sent the youth sexually suggestive text messages and sexually assaulted him on multiple occasions while Clark served as a youth deacon at a local church, though there is no evidence that any of the abuse occurred on church property.
Clark was released from custody from the Blount County Correctional Facility on bonds totaling $250,000 earlier today. He is set to appear in Blount County Circuit Court at 9 a.m. April 13, 2026.
