Irish Fest was Successful this Last Weekend!

KNOXVILLE, TENNESSEE – This past weekend the Irish Fest had been a huge success for locals and newcomers. After two years, everyone at the 13th annual festival was happy to be back.

Following, the event had several delightful Irish treats, collectables in the Silent Irish auction, and Irish bagpipes playing songs from the south.

Beth Myers said,” This ground is the same ground that our ancestors built this church on. Some of the stones from the original church are still embedded here. It feels nice to be connected to such a faithful and giving community.”

Continuing, Mrs. Myers is a proud member of the Catholic church and contributed to the event by hosting the bake sales all day long.

The Immaculate Conception Church community was happy to share the heritage with everyone who came. In fact, the Irish spirit meshed with the Catholic faith throughout the day. Adding, the services from the church were still occurring during the Irish Fest.

The Irish Fest was sponsored by the Drink Box Bar in Knoxville and the Conception Church.

Drink Box Bar had a huge line across the festival because of their proud Irish Whiskey!

The Stage Setup said,” Of course, with the luck of the green and my Virgin Rosemary bracelet; the weather will be consistent, and people will keep arriving. This is the first year in a while that everything has gone smoothly.”

Mentioning, the gallery below depicts items from the silent auction, bagpipe members, and the original church.
