PRESS RELEASE – New Providence Presbyterian Church in Downtown Maryville will continue to open the emergency cooling station today & tomorrow in the outdoor Church Pavilion. This is for anyone who is without AC and needs a place to get out of the elements. This cooling station will be set up until 5pm on Tuesday July the 7th.

We’re also in need of box fans and other items , such as: cooling towels, sunscreen, water bottles, etc. If you’re able to donate, please drop-off any items to the United Way of Blount County office between 8am and 5pm this week — 1615 E. Broadway Ave.
